摘 要：21世纪是互联网时代。Java作为一门跨平台的语言，凭借其良好的可执行性、移植性以及安全性等优势，在互联网的潮流中激流勇进，成为了最主要的语言，并实现了多方面的应用。本文首先介绍了Java语言的发展简史和Java所具备的优良特性进行阐述，比如可移植性、安全性、跨平台性、简易型等，然后对互联网时代进行分析，并对Java在互联网时代的应用进行分别的阐述，最后展望了Java的未来发展。通过这些阐述，我们可以得出，Java技术在互联网时代的作用是不可小觑的，Java技术和互联网的发展相辅相成，彼此推动。

An Elementary Introduction to the ImportantRole of Java Technology in the Internet Age

Abstract：Twenty-first Century is theage of the internet. As a cross platform language，Javahas become the most important language in the Internet，withits advantages of good executability，portability andsecurity. It has been used in many aspects. This paper first introduces thebrief history of the development of Java and the excellent features of Java，such as portability，security，cross platform，simple and so on. Then itanalyzes the Internet age，expounds the application ofJava in the Internet age，and finally looks forward tothe future development of Java. Through these elaboration，we can conclude that the role of Java technology in the internet ageis not to be underestimated. The development of Java technology and theinternet complement each other and promote each other.
