摘 要：“3S技术”是GPS、RS和GIS技术的统称，它在众多领域都得到了广泛的应用，并取得了良好的效果。将“3S技术”应用到森林资源的监测和管理中同样有着不可小觑的作用，它可以有效实现森林资源监测的准确性与实时化，并对森林经营进行自始至终的跟踪监测、评价、预测并为森林保护提供可靠依据。本文将对“3S技术”的应用意义、应用现状和发展前景加以分析和探讨，以期充分发挥“3S技术”优势，从而为森林保护做出贡献。

Researchon the Application of “3STechnology”in Monitoring and Management of Forest Resources

Abstract：3Stechnology is the general name of GPS，RS and GIS technology. It has beenwidely applied in many fields，and has achieved good results.Theapplication of "3S technology" to the monitoring and management of forestresources can not be underestimated. It can effectively realize the accuracyand real-time of forest resource monitoring，and track，evaluate and predict the forestmanagement from beginning to end，and provide reliable basis for forestprotection.This article will analyze and discuss the application significance，applicationstatus and development prospect of "3S technology"，inorder to give full play to the advantages of "3S technology"，so asto contribute to forest protection.
